A real gem from Ann Coulter’s latest:
Based on her lifetime of experience working as a firefighter, Ginsburg said: “Relying heavily on written tests to select fire officers is a questionable practice, to say the least.” Liberals prefer a more objective test, such as race.
More seriously though, she makes a good point:
As crazy as this is, even Ginsburg and the other dissenters made a big point of pretending there was some flaw in this particular test. None adopted Sotomayor’s position that unequal test results alone prove discrimination.
Here’s the deal. Sotomayer is extremely liberal. More liberal on these issues (read: racist) than every single other justice in the Supreme Court. So much for not legislating from the bench.
So liberal = racist?
What does conservative mean?
Hey Jessie,
Well, if you take it out of context. Liberal doesn’t mean racist, of course. I’m sure there are lots of liberals who would like skin color to be a non-issue. In this case though (pun intended) those certain justices who are considered liberal on the bench have thrown in their agreement with Sotomayer, and have a reply that means that they have these certain racial preferences. What I was saying was that Sotomayer’s positions all seem to be even more extreme whenever race is involved.
As for what conservative means, I hope it means a love of truth and justice beyond skin color.
